What is Fast ForWord?
Fast ForWord is a therapeutic computer program.
The program user, passing through another very interesting and fun games-exercises, improves perception, visual, auditory visual-auditory coordination, verbal memory range, attention and concentration. At the same time, he trains the ability to understand English, use sentence structures and sometimes.
The computer is connected to the Internet during work, thanks to which after each "training session" a record of the child's activity during the game is created - virtually every mouse click by the child is recorded. The program responds to the progressive child - if his results are getting worse, the level of difficulty increases; if there are errors and the time it takes to complete the task, the program repeats the task until systematic exercises bring results.
The results collected during the game - the tasks go to the Scientific Learning team, where the child's work is analyzed. Then detailed reports with tips on how to stimulate specific areas are sent to caregivers and therapists. In this way, the parent can monitor the child's work and motivate it to new challenges.
Fast ForWord programs significantly accelerate and support learning processes.
The method on which they are based develops such areas as attention, concentration, memory, phonological analysis / synthesis, and processing and ordering information. Based on the concept of brain plasticity, scientists have developed a method that quickly and permanently builds and improves overall language skills, which translates into school achievement.
They are very helpful in the development of children - dyslexic people.
